Hi Bill, just saw your comment. Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving it. I was fortunate to have you (and Zoe) for classes, and am happy to hear that Kent is getting more and more into the digital realm in terms of PR, social media and SEO - some of the stuff I learned flying by the seat of my pants because it was so new. You are part of what helped me to become successful at that. Now I'm working on marrying the marketing/PR end of things with psychology, so you're going to see some "brainy" posts coming out of here : ) It's a little weird being back @ Kent, but I am loving it. Thanks again - Kent PR students are lucky to have you!

Thanks for the props, Melanie. What's most gratifying about teaching is when you see students take the basic lessons and build on them. You've done that, as have so many others I've had the chance to work with over the years.

We teach from an expanded menu today, and it includes those things you include in your list. We recognize that in addition to the gatekeeper and the audience, we must also serve the search engines. And like you, we believe online communication should be just as clear and precise, maybe even more so, than print.

Our new lessons are, in part, how I found this post so quickly .I practice what I preach to students, maintaining a long list of Google Alerts related to me an anything I do. Thanks again the kind words -- and for sharing some great advice.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I enjoy seeing websites that understand the value of providing a prime resource for free. I truly loved reading your post. Thanks!
